Crestview 8th-graders split at Tippy; 7th-graders win twice

The Crestview Middle School eighth grade boys' basketball team participated in the Tippy Tourney on Saturday, Dec. 5, at Tippecanoe Valley.

In the first game, the eighth-graders defeated Wabash 50-30. Caleb Stoffel and Matt Hogan each had 10 points, Dylan Harter had seven points and Kyle Platt scored five points and had five assists.

The win moved Crestview to a second game against the host, Tippecanoe Valley.

Crestview lost the match 56-30. Hogan had 11 points and four rebounds and Stoffel added five more points.

The eighth grade team's record is 3-2 for the season.
Crestview's seventh grade boys' basketball team also traveled to the Tippy Tourney, where the team defeated Rochester 40-30 and Tippecanoe Valley 50-40.

In the first match against Rochester, Caleb Landrum put 18 points on the scoreboard, Jordon Seabolt added nine and Rick Wedlake had eight more points.

In the second game against Tippecanoe Valley, Seabolt dominated with game with 25 points, and Landrum added 20.
Crestview's record improved to 3-2 as a result of Saturday's games.
