Bischoff top individual, but Lady Viking bowlers fall in championship

Despite Elizabeth Bischoff winning the two-game high score overall with 448, it wasn't enough as the Huntington North High School girls' bowling team fell in the championship match at the Boone Grove Invitational on Sunday, Dec. 6.

The Lady Vikings lost the semifinal match against Crown Point 2-1. However, despite the defeat, Huntington North had a winning record on the day.

In the first two regular-style games, the Lady Vikes rolled 837 and 993, respectively. Elizabeth Bischoff rolled 227 in the first game, and Bischoff followed up in the second game with 221.

In the three Baker matches, Huntington North defeated Kankakee Valley, with scores of 190 and 184; Highland, with 165 and 224; and Crown Point, with 196 and 170.

The Lady Vikes seeded sixth in the championship Baker-style round, in which they fell to Highland 2-1 to move on to the semifinal against Crown Point.
