A season-best nine-hole score allowed the Huntington North High School girls' varsity golf team to cruise past host Mississinewa, 173-199, on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at the Marion Elks Country Club.
Improving to 5-3 in dual meets, Huntington North had a total of nine girls break 50, led by Leah Kitchen with a personal-best score of 40. Sarah Malone added a personal-best score of 43, Sarah Fryman shot a 44 and McKenzie Haneline and Ashley Hall both fired rounds of 46.
