HU soccermen can't dig out from early hole

The Huntington University men's soccer team got in an early 2-0 hole and wasn't able to dig out in a 5-1 loss to host Bethel College on Wednesday, Oct. 7.

Bethel got and nailed two free kicks in the game's first 15 minutes for an early lead, and the Pilots added a  third goal at the 33:05 mark. Former Huntington North star Isaac Wust helped get one goal back for HU on a corner kicks to Miguel de Sousa about a minute later, but Bethel added on another two scores by game's end to send HU to 7-4-1 on the season.

James Couchman started in goal for the Forester and gave up three goals while logging five saves. Troy Hester gave up the final two goals while registering one save.
