HNHS JV girls fall to South Side

After taking a 22-16 lead by halftime, the Huntington North High School girls' junior varsity basketball team fell to host Fort Wayne South Side 47-37 on Tuesday, Jan. 26.

The Lady Vikings danced around the hosts for the entire first half, outscoring South Side in both quarters. But South Side came back with a vengeance in the third frame, outscoring Huntington 10-3 and flipping the lead back to Fort Wayne. South Side hit its largest advantage of the game, 43-29, in the last quarter to finish the Lady Vikings off.

Allyson Trout and Jericho Parrett each had 10 points for HNHS. Taylor Pursifull had seven rebounds.

Anansa Harris led Fort Wayne with 12 points.
