Carroll makes quick work of HNHS spikers

Host Carroll made quick work of the Huntington North High School varsity volleyball team in a three-game sweep on Tuesday, Oct. 11.

The Lady Vikings, 22-8, fell 14-25, 21-25, 12-25.

Mackenzi Cannici led the HNHS offense with eight kills, and Kaitlyn Stephan had 12 assists.

Ariene Butler rallied the defensive troops with 17 digs.

The Lady Vikings' junior varsity lost in two sets, 14-25, 17-25.

Larissa Johnson paced the offense with five kills, and Lydia Riggers had 11 assists.

Brett Fawcett and Madi Laymon each had three digs.

The HNHS freshman team also lost 0-2, falling 17-25, 9-25.

Lauren Trickle and Sydney Selvage led the offense with four kills and eight assists, respectively.
