Vikings get one win in swim loss to East Noble

A victory in the 200-yard freestyle relay was the lone win of the night for the Huntington North High School boys' swim team against visiting East Noble on Tuesday, Nov. 29, in a 118-38 loss.

The quartet of senior Cody Barton, freshman Nathan York, sophomore Keegan Mautz and junior Conner Mason touched out an East Noble crew for victory in 1:49.82 for the Vikings' lone top-shelf finish as they fell to 1-2 on the season.

The Vikings got five second place finishes on the night, with Mason and Mautz each collecting two and Barton getting one. Mason was runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle, in 2:23.02, and the 500-yard freestyle, in 6:29.72, Mautz was the silver finisher in the 200-yard individual medley, in 2:34.28, and the 100-yard freestyle, in 1:01.68 and Barton was runner-up in the 100-yard breaststroke, in 1:07.44.
