The Huntington University women's tennis team dropped its second consecutive match in a 2-7 loss to host Hillsdale College on Saturday, April 1.
First and second singles players Constance Golz and Meg Dolde, respectively, got the Foresters' wins. Golz was ahead of Halle Hyman, 7-5, when the Hillsdale player retired, and Dolde took a 6-3, 6-4 win over Madeline Bissett.
Anastasiia Evstifeeva at third singles lost 1-6, 2-6 to Dana Buck, Erin Van Kampen fell 1-6, 1-6 to Kamryn Matthews and Allison Smith at fifth singles was a 0-6, 0-6 victim of Julia Formentin.
Golz and Dolde lost at first doubles, 3-8, to Katie Bell and Corinne Prost, while Evstifeeva and Van Kampen were 1-8 victims of Buck and Bisssett at second doubles.
HU had forfeits at sixth singles and third doubles.
