Four Huntington University athletes earn Chi Alpha honor squad

Four Huntington University student-athletes have been selected for induction into the Chi Alpha Sigma honor society.

This national college athlete honor society recognizes student-athletes who excel in athletics and academics.

Membership in Chi Alpha Sigma is given to those who display excellent character and citizenship, an outstanding scholarship of a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or higher, an earned varsity letter and a junior or senior academic standing.

The following Huntington University student-athletes will be inducted during a special ceremony at 3 p.m. March 28 in the upper level of the Habecker Dining Commons:

• Brittany E. Carlson, of Jenison, MI, a junior communications major and a member of the soccer team.

• Travis L. Frantz, of Columbia City, a junior applied exercise science major and a member of the baseball team.

• Alex J. Nafziger, of Wauseon, OH, a junior secondary math education major and a member of the basketball team.

• Cory M. Powell, of Marion, a junior business management major and a member of the golf team.
