Lady Vike spikers fall to Warsaw, 1-3

After a close win in the first set, the Huntington North High School varsity volleyball team lost the next three sets to host Warsaw on Thursday, Aug. 17.

The Lady Vikes won the first set, 25-23, but fell 17-25, 11-25 and 24-26 to even their record at 1-1 on the young season.

Maddy Robrock led HNHS with nine kills and a pair of aces, while Kaitlyn Stephan added 27 assists. Rileigh Johnson scooped out 15 digs and Macy Niswander had four blocks.

The HNHS junior varsity also lost, falling 0-2 on scores on 20-25, 13-25.

The junior varsity is now 0-2 on the season.

The Lady Vike freshman won, 2-1, winning the first game 25-17, falling in the second, 24-25,but picking it up with a 15-13 triumph in the third set.
