No. 20 IWU sweeps HU spikers

The Huntington University volleyball team got taken down in straight sets, 0-3, by No. 20 Indiana Wesleyan University on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Platt Arena.

The Foresters lost by scores of 21-25, 13-25, 19-25 to fall to 8-7, 3-2 in Crossroads League play.

Senior Josie Beaver paced the Huntington offense with seven kills. Junior Breanna Levings did her part to facilitate the scoring with 11 assists.

Defensively, senior Kate Cobb registered 17 digs while Beaver had a hand in three blocks.

Indiana Wesleyan, 10-3, 4-1 in conference, got 11 kills from Kelly Miller, 19 assists from Katie Cole and 21 digs from Banner Rodgers.
