Sunday, October 8, 2017 11:43 AM
The Huntington University men’s soccer team scored one early, visiting Goshen scored one late and that’s the way it ended, 1-1, after two overtimes on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 7.
The Foresters hit back netting at 14:44 when Matheus Louzada scored off a Luke Unger pass. Goshen matched the tally at the 68:12 mark, and neither team was able to make the scoreboard change after that.
HU moves to 5-2-4 overall, 1-0-2 in Crossroads League play.
Senior Troy Hester made five saves on the afternoon.
The Foresters put seven shots on net.
