Hall takes title as Vike wrestlers compete at NM Holiday Tourney

Jacob Hall won his 126-pound weight class as the Huntington North High School wrestling team competed at the North Montgomery Holiday Tournament on Friday, Dec. 29, and Saturday, Dec. 30.

The Vikings went 2-3 on the day as the first day of the tourney was a series of dual meets. The second day was an individual tourney.

Charlie Agnew took second for HNHS in the individual tourney, placing runner-up at 195 pounds. Ricky Haught took third at 132, Preston Teusch took four at 106, Kaleb McVoy was fifth at 152 and Adrein George at 160 and Christian Graft at 220 both placed sixth.

Teusch and Agnew went 5-0 on the day for HNHS in the dual meets.

HNHS lost to Pendleton Heights, 48-21; lost to North Montgomery, 51-21; and was nipped by Mt. Vernon, 34-33. The Vikings then beat Elwood, 45-36 and Noblesville, 53-24.
