HNHS swimboys lose to Marion

Keegan Mautz won an individual event and was part of a winning relay team but the Huntington North High School boys’ swim team fell to host Marion, 99-68, on Tuesday, Jan. 23.

Mautz captured the 200-yard individual medley in 2:30.27 and teamed with Nathan York, Conner Mason and Aidan Miller to win the 400-yard freestyle relay, in 4:04.95.

Mautz also grabbed second in the 100-yard freestyle, in :58.25, and was part of the second place 200-yard medley relay team with York, Cole Davidson and Miller.

Individually, Miller added a pair of second place finishes for the Vikes, finishing runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly, in 1:16.70, and the 100-yard backstroke, in 1:14.96.

York added second in the 50-yard freestyle, in :27.16, Mason was runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle, in 2:19.61 and Davidson was runner-up in the 100-yard breaststroke, in 1:24.04.

Davidson added a third in the fly, in 1:17.92, York took third in the 500-yard freestyle, in 6:26.72, and Mason did so in the backstroke, in 1:17.21. Reid Dillion added a pair of thirds, in the 50 free, in :32.93, and the 100 free, in 1:08.
