HNHS bowling girls sixth at state tourney

The Huntington North High School girls’ bowling team finished sixth at the Indiana High School Bowling State Finals on Saturday, Feb. 3, at Championship Lanes, in Anderson.

The Lady Vikings knocked down 1,877 pins across 12 Baker games for their placement. They missed advancement to the stepladder finals by two spots.

Third-seeded Portage won the state title with a 359-346 victory over No. 1 seed Michigan City.
