Viking JV goes 2-2 over last four

The Huntington North High School junior varsity baseball team went 2-2 in games played across Thursday, April 26, to Saturday, April 28.

On April 26, the Vikings trounced host Columbia City, 17-2.

Nate Hall led Huntington North at the plate with a 5-for-5 effort.

Bryce Thompson pitched the Vikes to the win.

Coach Sam Ryan’s squad won big again on April 27, routing host Eastbrook, 20-6.

Six batters registered two base pokes for the hot-hitting Vikings.

Noah Wiedenhoeft picked up the win on the mound for Huntington North.

The Vikes suffered a sweep to host Homestead on April 28.

The visitors lost the first game, 13-3. Pitcher Aidan Hosler took the loss for Huntington North.

The second contest saw the Vikings fall 13-8. Thompson sustained the defeat for Coach Ryan and Co. Clark Kitchen paced the team at the plate with two hits.
