Forester spikers lose momentum and match

Coming of a first set-win, the Huntington University volleyball team lost the momentum and eventually the match against visiting Marian, 1-3, on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 22.

The Foresters won the first set, 25-21, but then fell, 12-25, 14-25, 12-25 to drop to 6-11 overall, 3-6 in crosssroadsw League play.

Paige Eakright led the HU offense with 10 kills, and she also helped out defensively with 16 digs. Lanie McClanahan and Tailor Schultheis added nine and eight kills, respectively.

Jenna Tacosik had 25 dimes and registered seven digs.

Ariene Foster topped the Foresters in digs with 18.
