HU harriers 4th of 20 at Great Lakes Challenge

The Huntington University men’s cross country team claimed fourth place out of 16 teams at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge hosted by Aquinas College on Saturday, Oct. 20.

Senior Kevin Moser finished third among 139 runners in the 8K event to lead HU to just 19 points from first place. Moser clocked in a 27:08.90.

Nick Childs came in next for Coach Nick Johnson’s squad, claiming eighth in 27:37. Adrien Gentie ran a 28:01.50 to finish 22nd, Elijah Chesterman was 25th in 28:09.00 and Aaron Hendryx placed 36th in 28:32.90.

Luke Zeddis ran a 28:35.00 as the top non-scorer for HU.
