The Huntington North High School boys’ varsity golf team fell to host Homestead, 183-166, on Monday, May 6.
The Vikings, 1-4, were led by sophomore Caden Brubaker, who shot a 43. Senior Hank Pulver fired a 44, freshman Ethan Vaught carded a 47 and senior Sawyer Stoltz tallied a 49 to cap the team’s score. Junior Graham Scher shot a non-scoring 54. Freshman Jacob Vereeke was also a non-scorer with a 60.
Huntington North also lost the junior varsity match, 212-184, to fall to 1-3.
Freshman Ryon Magnuson fired a 49 for the Vikes, while Cameron Richison produced a 52, Chase Mickley supplied a 53 and Luke Eckert contributed a 58. Damien Martin shot a non-scoring 64.
