Viking soccerboys open with loss to Snider

The Huntington North High School boys’ soccer team opened its season with a 2-0 loss to visiting Snider on Tuesday, Aug. 20.

The Panthers got the scoring started at the 21:38 mark in the opening half. They found the back of the net again before the end of the stanza to round out the game’s offense.

The Vikings, 0-1, produced 13 shots, none of which were on goal.

Dom Cardwell took the loss in goal for Huntington North. The sophomore yielded both of Snider’s scores while registering eight saves.
