HU soccermen win third straight

The Huntington University men’s soccer team won its third game in a row, besting Cleary University, 2-1, on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at King Stadium.

After a scoreless first half, the Foresters took control of the contest in the second. Sophomore Christian Kohen found the back of the net at the 53:14 mark, then junior Jake Erlandson followed suit at the 82:11 mark. The Cougars avoided the shutout with a score in the 88th minute.

Junior keeper Gabe Greenfield yielded Cleary’s lone goal while making five stops for the Foresters, who improve to 4-1-1.
