Lourdes edges HU soccerwomen

The Huntington University women’s soccer team got edged by visiting Lourdes University, 1-0, on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

After a scoreless opening half, the Gray Wolves tallied what proved to be the game-winning goal not quite three minutes into in the second stanza.

The Foresters, 3-4, produced 14 shots, eight of which were on goal. Senior Bailey O’Dell and junior Jordan Adam each accounted for two of those scoring looks.

Goalie Maddy Moan allowed Lourdes’ lone goal while recording four saves for Huntington.
