Sprinter Barrow leads HU trackmen at Fort Waye Duals

Avniel Barrow sprinted his way to a second place finish in the 60-meter dash and fourth in the 200-meter dash to highlight the performance of the Huntington University men’s track team at the Fort Wayne Duals hosted by Purdue Fort Wayne at the Lutheran Health Fieldhouse.

Barry went :06.99 in the shorter sprint and added a :23.38 time for the 200.

Noah Bise also had a runner-up finish for HU, breaking his own long jump record with a mark of 6.79 meters.

Kyler Burner set a new personal record in pole vault with his leap of 4.10 meters.

The HU distance medley relay team placed fourth, and Cameron Worsham added fifth place points in the 60-meter hurdles with a clocking of :08.69. Luke Fillers was seventh in pole vault at 3.80 meters, Peyton Depriest placed eighth in the 400-meter dash in :52.4 and Seth Parsell was eighth in the weight throw at 13.07 meters.

The Foresters finished seventh out of the eight teams competing with 40 points. Indiana Tech topped the field with 168.5 points.
