After scoring only eight points through the first 29:30 of the game, the Huntington North High School girls’ varsity basketball team poured in 12 points in the final 2:30 and pulled out a come-from-behind 21-19 win over host Concordia Lutheran on Saturday night, Jan. 25.
The Lady Vikings trailed 19-8 with just 2:30 left in the game, but sophomore Leah Campbell hit back-to-back three-pointers as HNHS scored the game’s final 13 points to improve its record to 15-5.
Campbell led the Lady Vikes with eight points on the night. Junior Reece Colclesser added six points.
Senior Bayleigh Double collected a team-high four rebounds.
Huntington North went 7 for 31 from the field for 22.5 percent and 3 for 4 at the free throw line for 75 percent.
With the loss, Concordia falls to 10-9.
