Logansport beats Lady Vike gymnasts

The Huntington North High School gymnastics team lost to visiting Logansport, 103.825-97.525, on Monday, Jan. 27.

The best finish on the evening for the Lady Vikings came from senior Aleah Eckert, who finished runner-up in the vault with a score of 8.800.

Emma Wilson finished third in the event and Chloe Camomile took fourth, receiving scores of 8.750 and 8.700, respectively.

Wilson also took third in the bars, getting a score of 7.825, with Camomile fourth with a 7.275 and Emily Manry fifth with a 6.725.

Camomile, who finished third in all-around with a score of 32.400, led HNHS on the floor with an 8.675 score for fourth place. Manry was fifth with an 8.475 and Corynn Barton was sixth with an 8.200.

Eckert led on the balance beam with a fourth place finish at 8.350. Barton took sixth with an 8.000.

Barton placed fifth in the all-around with a total of 31.025. Wilson was sixth with a 30.625.

Kendal Wilkinson of Logansport won all four disciplines and the all-around. She tallied a 9.450 on vault, a 9.125 on bars, a 9.150 on beam and a 9.250 on floor. Her all-around score was 36.975.
