Parkview Huntington Family YMCA partners with Parks and Rec dept. for 2020 Youth Soccer League

Parkview Huntington Family YMCA is partnering with Huntington Parks and Recreation Department for the 2020 Huntington Community Youth Soccer Fall Rec League.

The goal of this league is to provide instruction to assist in the development of soccer skills. Age divisions offered for the fall league include 4U, 6U, 8U, 11U and 14U. Athletes in the various age divisions cannot turn the maximum age in the respective division prior to Sept. 1.

All practices and games will be held at Yeoman Park, 900 Market St., Huntington. Practices for the fall league begin the week of Sept. 7, for leagues 6U and older, with the six-game season starting Sept. 19.

The fall season will last six weeks with only season winners determined. There will be no season-ending tournament.

Late registrations are now being accepted through Aug. 30, and may be completed by calling 359-9622 or stopping by the YMCA. There is a small additional fee for late registrations.

Individuals may also register on the YMCA website at www.hunt
ingtony.org. Financial assistance is available to help offset the cost of program.
