HN girls track takes 4th

The Huntington North High School girls track team competed in the Bulldog Relays at New Haven High School on Saturday, March 27, taking fourth place overall.

Carroll High School took the top spot with 102 points, followed by Warsaw Community at 98 points and Leo High School at 92. HNHS earned 54 points.

Huntington’s individual results included the following:

Second place
1600-meter sprint medley: Alyse Geiger, Emma Holzinger, Gracie Fields and Ella Colclesser.
Long jump: Holzinger, Geiger and Lily Clanin.

Third place
100-meter low hurdles: Holzinger.

4000 distance medley: Hanna Whitney, Geiger, Fields and Colclesser.

Fourth place
Discus: Abby Grube, Izzy Niswander and Maddie Husband.

Fifth place
Shuttle hurdles: Janna Teusch, Peyton Sell, Mary Rittenhouse and Julia Baker.

Shot put: Grube, Niswander and Husband.

Pole vault: Teusch, Cadence Reed and Madalyn Sink.
