HNHS girls golf hosts two teams in NE8 action

The Huntington North High School (HNHS) girls golf team took on both Leo High School and Columbia City High School in NE8 action on Thursday, Aug. 19, with HNHS taking second place overall with 175.

Columbia City took the top spot, earning 169 points. Leo rounded things out with 204.

Leading the Lady Vikings, Grace Dill earned an even par score of 35. Megan Stephan followed with 43.

Next was Carley Roth with 45, Haley Newton with 52 and Adalyn Cutting with 57. Hailey Hoffman and Ella Newton rounded out the evening with 64 and 67, respectively.

The team’s record now stands at 3-1 for the season, 2-1 in NE8.
