It’s been a mixed bag for the Huntington North High School (HNHS) girls varsity soccer team lately, taking a close loss on Tuesday, Sept. 7, and turning things around just two days later for a clean sweep on Thursday, Sept. 9.

First, on Sept. 7, the HNHS Lady Vikings traveled to Bellmont High School, falling 3-2. Goals were made by sophomores Lara Steele and Skylar Olson.

Then, on Sept. 9, the team turned things around, hosting Fort Wayne South Side High School and winning 7-0.

Steele led the charge for the team, scoring three goals for the Lady Vikings. She was followed by Addy Wiley with two, as well as Charity First and Olson with one each.

Julia Spitler led the way with assists, making three that evening. Olson and Steele each had two.
