HN girls varsity soccer falls to Homestead 8-0

The Huntington North High School girls soccer team traveled to Warsaw High School on Thursday, Oct. 7, to compete in their first round of sectional play for the season, facing the Homestead High School Spartans.

The Spartans had taken on Fort Wayne South Side High School on Tuesday, Oct. 5, dominating the Archers in a 10-1 match.

Homestead dominated again against the Lady Vikings, ending the evening with a clean sheet of 8-0, ending Huntington’s season.
Huntington’s overall season record was 12-5 with a 5-2 league record.
