The boys and girls swim teams at Huntington North High School (HNHS) have been hard at work recently, earning multiple wins since just before a break from school over the holidays. Listed below are recent swim meet results:

Both the boys and girls teams were victorious in the pool, with the girls winning 97-68 and the boys winning 101-62.

Annika Carpenter finished first in the 200 Free and 100 Backstroke.
Delaney Houser finished first in the 100 Free and second in the 100 Breaststroke.
MaKenna Haston finished first in the 500 Free.
Kayla Reich finished first in the 50 Free.
Kaydince Kalhoefer finished second in the 100 Fly and third in the 200 Individual Medley.
Ava Vandlandingham finished second in the 100 Fly and third in the 200 Individual Medley.
Sapphire Dangerfield finished second in the 200 Free.
Maggie Guerre finished second in the 100 Backstroke.
Chloe North finished third in the 100 Fly and 100 Backstroke.
Jade Perrin finished third in the 50 Free.

HNHS vs. Bellmont High School – Jan. 6
The Vikings hosted another NE8 Conference foe on Thursday, Jan. 6, but the results were split this time around. The boys were able to defeat the shorthanded Braves team 116-25, but the girls were defeated by a narrow margin of 80-90.

Carpenter finished first in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Fly.
Kalhoefer finished first in the 100 Free and 100 Breaststroke.
Houser finished first in the 50 Free and 100 Backstroke.
Sink finished second in the 100 Free.
Elena Quiroga finished second in the 100 Free.
Vanlandingham finished third in the 100 Backstroke.
