The Huntington North girls tennis No. 1 doubles team of Avery Bonewitz and Morgan Betterly ended their season at the Carroll Individual Sectional last week.
No. 1 doubles teams and No. 1 singles players who remained unbeaten after their teams were defeated during the team sectional tournament qualified for the individual tournament.
Bonewitz and Betterly won their opening match against Northrop by a score of 6-4, 6-2, Tuesday, May 24.
They moved on to face Norwell in the next round but fell short in a 6-3, 6-2 loss to end their postseason run.
