Senior Jake Crosley placed second to lead the Huntington North High School boys' cross country team to a hard-fought victory at the Tiger Invitational in Warsaw on Tuesday, Aug. 31.

All five scoring runners for HNHS placed in the top 13 finishers as the Vikings scored 41 points to beat the host school by five. Whitko was just another three points back in third place among the nine teams competing.

"A fantastic run by everyone in hot conditions, and we were able to compete with two very strong teams in Warsaw and Whitko," noted HNHS Head Coach Curtis Hines.
"I am very pleased with our effort tonight."

Crosley was runner-up to Brian Menzie of Whitko, finishing in 16:43.40. Sean Lewis and Cordell Lewis placed seventh and eighth, respectively, for the Vikings, and Paul Hernandez and Skyler Vogelman wrapped up the scoring with 11th place and 13th place, respectively.
