Parkview Huntington Family YMCA and Zay Leasing and Rentals are proud to announce their first annual Family Fitness 5K on Sept. 18. The 5K event starts at 8 a.m. with registrations ending at 7:45 a.m.

Awards will be given to the top three runners in each age group, including the novice division. The novice division will be open to runners who are competing in their first 5K. A 1/2-mile run/walk for kids 10 and under will begin at 9:30 a.m. All children will receive a reward for participating.

At 10 a.m., door prizes will be given out, and winners will be announced. There is a fee to enter the race, with families of four receiving a discount. Childcare will be provided by YMCA staff and volunteers inside the facility.
