The Lady Eagles varsity volleyball team won a home match with the Fort Wayne Angels at the Salamonie School Gym on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 25-10, 25-14, and 25-20.

Kaleigh Shultz had six blocks, seven digs, 10 assists, 8 kills and 4 aces.

Marina Stoffel had five blocks, five digs, three as-sists, five kills and five aces.

Kelsey Featherston had 10 digs, two assists, six kills and three aces.

Kaitlin Layman had six digs, and Dana Stoffel had 12 digs and three kills.

Kaylee Johnson added seven digs and four aces.

The team's Thursday, Sept. 2, match at the Horace Mann School Gym was canceled and converted to a practicedue to the Lady Crusaders (Plymouth) having an unexpected funeral event to attend.

The Lady Eagles will now have a series of home matches at the Salamonie School Gym, 1063E-900S, Warren, IN.
