The Huntington North varsity volleyball team picked up a close win against visiting Fort Wayne North Side in five games on Thursday, Sept. 2.

Scores were 13-25, 25-23, 25-7, 20-25 and 15-7.
Este Stoffel tallied 13 kills and 12 digs for the Lady Vikings, now 2-4.

Alexis Wygant added 11 kills, 19 digs and two solo blocks. Kayla Koch dished out 34 assists, and Taylor Hiers added 20 digs.

For the junior varsity Lady Viking squad, Marisa Kitts picked up nine digs as the home team fell 18-25, 24-25 to drop to 8-2 on the season.

Audrey Hiner added nine assists. Jessie Drew and Mikayla Carpenter each had three kills.

The freshmen Lady Vikings also lost Thursday evening, 20-25, 21-25, as they drop to 1-3 on the season.

Maddie Klender had four kills. Jessie Earhart added five assists, and Cassy Lange had eight digs.
