Sophomore Isaac Wust notched a "hat trick" of three goals to lead the Huntington North High School boys' varsity soccer team to a 4-1 victory over host Columbia City on Saturday, Sept. 4.
The Vikings got their fourth win in six outings by tallying three first-half goals while holding the Eagles scoreless.
Wust, who has seven goals on the campaign, notched one of his scores against Columbia City of on a direct kick, and another on a penalty kick.
Tayler Johnson aided the HNHS cause by scoring the remaining goal and having an assist on one of Wust's.
HNHS goalie Kyle Williams recorded five saves, but lost his shutout when CC scored with six minutes left in the contest.
The Viking junior varsity squad played to a 0-0 tie with its Columbia City counterpart, bringing the HNHS record to 4-0-2.
