Frankie Lowe

Frankie Lowe, 93, of Marion, IN, died Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, at 11:45 p.m. at Rolling Meadows Health & Rehabilitation Center in LaFontaine, IN.

Mrs. Lowe moved to the Marion area to work for Malleable Ironworks and was also an owner and operator of Bill’s Used Furniture.

She was born Feb. 24, 1926, in Hamilton, OH, to Lewis and Mayme Purvis Rogers. She married Kenneth A. Lowe on Dec. 26, 1947, and he preceded her in death on June 21, 1998.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Lowe, of Marion, and Roger (Denae) Lowe, of South Carolina; a brother, Paul “Mossy” (Janet) Rogers, of Marion; a sister, Patricia Rogers, of Virginia; three granddaughters, Michelle (Fred) Reed, of Marion; Aimee (John) Ferguson, of Tennessee; and Amanda (Jay) Ouzts, of South Carolina; a grandson, Christopher Lowe, of Marion; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was also was preceded in death by a son, David Lowe.

Calling is Wednesday, Nov.13, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion. A service of celebration will follow immediately after at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park in Marion.
