Richard A. Johnson

Richard Adam Johnson, 40, of Andrews, IN, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN.

Mr. Johnson graduated from Huntington North High School in 1998 and earned an associate degree from Ivy Tech. He was a carpenter for Weigand Construction in Fort Wayne for 21 years and a member of Local Carpenter Union 232 of Fort Wayne. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.

He was born Sept. 6, 1979, in Huntington to Richard Conley and Annette Johnson. His father survives in Huntington and his mother survives in Andrews. He married Angie Moore on April 21, 2001, in Wabash, and she also survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Garret L. Johnson, of Andrews; a daughter, Grace E. Johnson, of Andrews; a grandfather, Gary Conley, of Huntington; and two sisters, Ashley Johnson and Lauren Conley, both of Huntington.

Calling is Monday, Jan. 27, 2020, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020, at 10 a.m. at the mortuary, with Rev. Barry Faucett officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Andrews Riverside Cemetery.
